Blur bassist Alex James will open the all new Harvest Festival on his farm in Kingham, Chipping Norton with bands like The Kooks, Eliza Doolittle, The Feeling, and KT Tunstall.
The event will be held in September 9-12 and will be The kooks only UK summer festival appearance, but they will be touring in October for their new album, "Junk Of The Heart", that will be out on September 12. The festival will also host not only music but cooking classes, restaurants, gardening workshop and a farmers market. James said that his family is "looking forward to a celebration of all our favourite things – food, the farm and music. What more could we ask for?"
